How to Get Ready
Add the curry powder, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, pepper flake, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the basil. Put aside.
Avoid slicing into the duck’s meat while scoring the skin in a diamond pattern. Coat each duck breast in the spice mixture on both sides. After at least an hour, refrigerate.
Set a grill’s temperature to medium-high.

In a food processor, pulse oranges, soy sauce, honey, and chile paste until smooth.
Transfer it to a big pot and cook it to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce by half when cooking. Before using, let it cool.

Brush the duck generously with sauce once or twice while it is grilling it for 4-5 minutes on a hot grill. For medium rare, flip and cook for a further three to four minutes, coating often with glaze once or twice.
Heat the leftover glaze until it boils. Transfer to a serving dish and present next to the duck.
