39 cows were saved from four traffickers in three different situations

In the territory of Ghagwal and the Samba town region, Samba police stopped three attempts at smuggling cows and detained four of the smugglers. Additionally, 39 bovine animals were saved.

During a vehicle check at Naka Nud, a Samba police team motioned for a truck with the license plate JK02CB-5411 to halt so that it could be examined. A few meters from the checkpoint, the driver abandoned the vehicle and ran away upon seeing the police team. 31 cows were discovered loaded into the car during a vehicle inspection. The cows were cruelly tethered and being transported illegally without a permit. At police station Samba, a case under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been filed, and an investigation has begun.

Similar to this, in another instance of cattle smuggling, a Samba police unit acting on credible intelligence successfully stopped an attempt at cattle smuggling and saved five cows that were being cruelly carried from the Nud region on foot.

Abdul Wahid and Layqit Ali have been named as the detained bovine smugglers.

Similar to this, a crew from the Ghagwal police station stopped a Mahindra load carrier with registration number JK02BU-4542 for inspection at National Highway checkpoint Tapyal while on duty inspecting vehicles. Three cows that were being transported illegally and without a valid permit were discovered loaded inside the car during inspection. The cows were tethered cruelly.

The vehicle used to carry cattle illegally was confiscated, and the smugglers of the cattle, Shafi Mohd and Sadam Hussain, were apprehended. A case was filed against the accused under the applicable laws.
