95 Children Are Taken ‘Illegally’ From Bihar To UP And Saved In Ayodhya

Over ninety-five children who were purportedly being forcibly transported from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh were rescued on Friday by the Uttar Pradesh Child Commission.

Sarvesh Awasthi, the Chairperson of the Ayodhya Child Welfare Committee, said that the children were saved by the CWC members when they learned about the situation on Friday morning from Suchitra Chaturvedi, a member of the UP Child Commission.

The children that were saved, according to the CWC chairwoman, ranged in age from 4 to 12.

“At about 9 am, UP Child Commission member Suchitra Chaturvedi called and said that from Bihar, minor children are being transported to Saharanpur illegally and that they are in Gorakhpur and will go via Ayodhya,” Awasthi said in an interview with ANI. After we saved the kids, we provided them with food and medical attention.

“The individuals who brought the kids didn’t have any parental consent forms.” The majority of the children, who range in age from 4 to 12, said they had no idea where they were being brought. Children will be given over to their parents as they arrive, and parents are being notified. There were ninety-five kids in all,” he said.

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh State Child Commission in Gorakhpur saved a group of Bihari youngsters who were being transported to madrasas in several regions.

In response to the tragedy, Priyank Kanoongo, the chairwoman of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, posted on X with the news of the kids’ rescue.
