A group of six car lifters was apprehended, and twelve stolen two-wheelers were found

Twelve stolen two-wheelers were found among the six suspected members of a vehicle-lifting ring that the city and Chabbewal police detained. Inspector Deepak Sharma, the city police station’s in-charge, provided information in this respect, stating that they had received confidential information indicating two of the accused were approaching Bhangi Choa with a stolen Activa. He said that under ASI Jaswinder Singh, the cops established a specific blockage. The car was discovered to be stolen when the police pulled over the two suspects while driving an Activa and began their investigation.

Yelim Bhatti, a resident of Mohalla Gobindgarh (Bahadurpur), and Yashpal, a resident of Jagatpura, were identified as the accused during the questioning. He said that after their court appearance, they were placed under police detention for two days and subjected to questioning. He admitted to the police that he and Chauhal resident Navdeep Singh, also going by the nickname Navi, had stolen the car. Three motorcycles were reported stolen on April 16 during singer Satinder Sartaj’s performance in the hamlet of Bajrawar, according to Ajaib Singh, the in-charge of the Udhar police station in Chabbewal.

Following a careful investigation, the police detained and questioned Jasveer Singh, also known as Jagroop Singh, Balveer Singh, also known as Bunty, a resident of Bhilowal, and Jujhar Singh, also known as Jimmy, a resident of Bajrawar. The three motorcycles were among the seven cars that were found. He said that further questions would be asked of the accused.
