A person detained with 100 grams of heroin
According to the municipal police on Thursday, someone was detained here for being in possession of 100 grams of heroin. Kuldeep Kuma of Reru in Jalandhar was recognized as the individual who had been detained.
A police team stationed close to Transport Nagar saw a person, according to Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma. He said that after throwing a polythene from his pocket and realizing there were police there, the man attempted to run away. 100 grams of heroin were found in the polythene when the police examined it, according to Sharma.
He added that the Division No. 8 police station had received a formal complaint (FIR) against the detained suspect in accordance with pertinent parts of the NDPS Act. The suspect was previously the subject of another NDPS Act case at the Division No. 8 police station.
