A second chief secretary examines Gharaunda’s procurement

On Thursday, the lifting procedure at the Gharaunda grain market and the purchase of wheat were examined by Shrikant Walgad, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Fisheries Department. Divisional Commissioner Renu S. Phulia visited the Taraori grain market in the interim. They instructed the authorities to raise the wheat as soon as possible.

In order to learn about the arrangements, ACS Walgad visited the grain market with representatives from many procurement organizations and spoke with farmers and arhtiyas. Four lakh metric tons (MT) of wheat have landed in this market, according to him. SDM Rajesh Soni promised to get the wheat lifting project forward quickly. 42 percent of the arriving wheat, he said, has already been removed.

Renu S. Phulia, the Karnal Divisional Commissioner, evaluated the wheat procurement setup at Taraori Grain Market and reported that everything was proceeding according to plan, with an emphasis on accelerating the lifting of wheat.
