According to Atishi, the Ghazipur dump fire event would be looked into

According to news agency PTI, Delhi cabinet minister Atishi said on Monday that an investigation would be conducted to determine the reason of the Ghazipur waste fire event.

On Sunday night, a large fire started at the Ghazipur dump in east Delhi. According to PTI, authorities have identified hot, dry weather as the fire’s most probable cause.

Deputy Mayor Aaley Mohammad Iqbal visited the scene of the landfill fire in Ghazipur yesterday. Mayor Shelly Oberoi will visit the location today to assess the current state of affairs. The fire has been put out after the Delhi Fire Service’s trucks were sent out throughout the night. There’s still some smoke present. At a news conference, Atishi said, “We will undoubtedly conduct an inquiry into the source of the incident and the mechanism by which it began.

On Monday, thick clouds of smoke were rising from the dump.

The dump saw a large fire on Sunday night, according to the Delhi Fire Service, because of the gasses created in the enormous rubbish mountain, PTI said.

Atishi further accused the BJP of causing the “mess” in garbage disposal while it was in charge of Delhi’s Municipal Corporation.

“Since the AAP administration took office, rubbish mountains’ height and breadth have been steadily declining… However, it would need some time for the AAP administration to clean up the wreckage that the BJP left behind in Delhi during a 15-year period,” she said.

Virendra Sachdeva, the head of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party, has made grave accusations against the Aam Aadmi Party administration in Delhi about the Ghazipur dump fire disaster, according to ANI.

According to Sachdeva, AAP and Chief Minister Kejriwal had said that they will clear this dump by 2023, but corruption is in the works, as reported by ANI.

“People’s life in Kondli and Mayur Vihar, two nearby neighborhoods, have descended into hell. I know this since I too reside in Mayur Vihar. The AAP and Arvind Kejriwal said during the municipal elections that they will clear this dump by December 2023. This is where the corruption game is being played. An investigation of the fire’s cause is necessary. There is corruption at the root of the causes, which are natural. He said, “It should be looked into, and those found guilty should be dealt with.”

Additionally, according to ANI, the Delhi BJP president said that all three landfills—Okhla, Bhalaswa, and Ghazipur—would be demolished within a year of the party’s formation as the government in Delhi.

“The party and the AAP leader are receiving dialysis. This location should have had 25 machines, however only half of them are operational. Who has the blame? Is Arvind Kejriwal going to accept accountability? There will be no further tenders issued. There is no formation of a Standing Committee.

There are no decisions being made. Who has the blame? Kejriwal Arvind. All three of Delhi’s landfills would be closed within a year of the BJP administration taking office, according to Sachdeva, as reported by ANI.
