Actors, hundreds of admirers, and the Karnataka Chief Minister honor Kannada star Dwarakish

Actor and film producer Dwarakish was honored on Wednesday at Ravindra Kalakshetra by thousands of fans, Sandalwood celebrities, politicians (including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah), and veteran performers. The final ceremonies took place at TR Mill in Chamarajpet with full state honors.

“The passing of Dwarakish is painful for all Kannadigas,” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reminisced about the late actor. His work as an actor, director, and producer has had a significant impact on the Kannada cinema industry. He collaborated with renowned performers like as Ambareesh, Vishnuvardhan, and Dr. Rajkumar.

After paying last tributes to the late producer, veteran actor, producer, and director V Ravichandran said, “Dwarakish taught us the importance of dreaming big.” He had a significant impact on the Kannada cinema industry. Since our company, Eshwari Productions, launched his first film, we were able to stay in contact at all times.

“I have known Dwarakish uncle since my childhood and he was very close to my family,” said veteran actor Shivarajkumar. Mayor Muthanna was his first film with my father Rajkumar. I have performed for his production company as well. Instead of being a friend, he was more like family.

Actors Jaggesh, an MP for the Rajya Sabha, MLC Umashree, actress Sumalatha Ambareesh, MLC Ramesh Aravind, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa, Yash, Dhurva Sarja, and Sriimurali, producer Rockline Venkatesh, all paid their homage to Dwarakish.
