Amit Shah submits a nomination for the Lok Sabha constituency of Gandhinagar

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, filed his nomination papers on Friday to run as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Lok Sabha constituency of Gandhinagar.

When Shah sent in his nomination papers to the Gandhinagar collector and district election officer in the state capital at precisely 12:39 p.m., known as “Vijay Muhurat,” Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was beside him.

In the 2019 general elections, the previous president of the Bharatiya Janata Party became victorious from the Gandhinagar seat, garnering over 5 lakh votes.

On May 7, the third round of voting for all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat will take place.
