An representative from the Railway Board visits the Rail Coach Factory

The Railway Board’s Director General of Human Resources, Naveen Gulati, paid a visit to the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) at Kapurthala today. S. Srinivas, the RCF’s general manager, and other senior personnel welcomed him.

Gulati saw the workshop’s coach construction procedure. He looked at the several kinds of coaches that the RCF was producing, including MEMUs with three-phase electricity and LHB AC coaches. Additionally, he examined the Vande Metro coaches that the RCF is now building.

Gulati also looked at the parts of the bogie shop and how they are used in coach bogies. In addition to praising the RCF infrastructure for producing coaches quickly, he offered insightful counsel along the way.

He convened a conference with the general manager and top officers to discuss fundamental concerns with human resources, production output, and the creation of new coach models for the current fiscal year.

Gulati, the Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Railway, met with authorized RCF unions and groups. During the discussion, topics related to employees’ wellbeing were covered. He emphasized the value of friendly ties between the government and unions while also asking them to work together to boost coach manufacturing.

Gulati commended the RCF for setting a record for coach production in 2023–24 and emphasized that the organization must continue to put in great effort to maintain its leading position in both design and manufacture while also acknowledging its role in bringing Indian Railways up to speed with global standards.

He commended the RCF for its technical advancements in the construction of coaches and suggested that it adhere to best practices in order to increase its output, as the Railway Board is eager to support it in this area.
