And now for the public’s decision

The BJP’s stronghold is the Bangalore South Lok Sabha Constituency.

For the last thirty-two years, BJP candidates have prevailed here on a regular basis. In this seat, the late Ananth Kumar had already won before the Modi wave. Congress has made several attempts but has not been able to subjugate this group. It was anticipated that Ananth Kumar’s widow or daughter would run in this seat after his passing, however, Tejaswi Surya was awarded a ticket by the party the previous time around. Defeating Congressman BK Hariprasad, Surya had won by an overwhelming majority.

However, this time, the Congress has put up former MLA Soumya Reddy, who is the daughter of Minister Ramalinga Reddy, a powerful Congress figure in Bengaluru. For Ramalinga Reddy, this election has great significance. Consequently, in comparison to the previous Lok Sabha elections, Congress operations in Bangalore South have risen this time around. The Congress has developed several tactics, including showy road shows and door-to-door campaigning, to challenge the BJP.

As a result, it is evident that there is no spirit of competition between the two on the field. Some said that we support Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP’s development initiatives for Members of Parliament, and that we vote for Modi’s national interests rather than local concerns. In response, what has the federal BJP administration done for us, given that we benefit from guarantee schemes? He said that he will support the congressional candidate since unfair taxes have been levied and there has been no drought assistance.

This time, the Congress and BJP are fighting one other directly in Bangalore South. Tejaswi Surya is optimistic that he would carry forward the constituency’s development efforts and build upon Narendra Modi’s accomplishments.

Soumya Reddy is optimistic that she would be able to manage the state government’s guarantee programs, as well as issues with unemployment, unfairness, and price increases from the federal government to the state. Each contender is testing out a different approach to the contest. Thus, interest has been piqued by the arena.
