Andhra Pradesh chief minister denounces the anti-poor tripartite coalition

On Friday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attacked the tripartite coalition once again, claiming that it follows the TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu’s instructions and lacks a distinct worldview.

Speaking to a sizable crowd in Kakinada as part of the Memantha Siddham campaign, Jagan said that Naidu made the ultimate decision on the partnership. “Package star (JSP chief Pawan Kalyan) complies with Naidu’s requests,” he said. He will sit if Naidu tells him to. He will get up if he is asked to.

The Chief Minister took note of Pawan Kalyan’s constant deference to Naidu. “Even though he wants 80 seats, he wouldn’t mind if Naidu only gave him 20,” he said. Taking aim at BJP State President D Purandeswari for her support of the TDP, he said that despite her father, the late NTR, having detested him, she is unreservedly backing Naidu.

During his five-year term, Jagan introduced welfare measures, claiming to have made an effort to assist every family. In this election, I’m running alone. This alliance, the NDA, which has never helped the underprivileged, is coming to battle me like a pack of wolves, plotting and planning to undermine me. Nevertheless, he said, “Our party flag is flying high.”

According to him, the State government’s revolutionary choices were of a historic character. “Everyone should become my star campaigners for the State government and go to every household and explain our performance if all these schemes have to continue in the future,” he said.

He said there is a class war raging in the State and mentioned that elections are in only 25 days. Will you all rise up and destroy this anti-poor coalition so that the exploited no longer remain impoverished? The next five years of our existence will be determined by your vote. Voting for those who will improve our lives is something we should do. Your vote will determine whether or not the government’s programs are carried out, he said.

Voting for Jagan, he claimed, will guarantee the continuation of the village secretariat system, old age pensions, the agricultural services offered to the villagers’ farmers, and the English-medium education your children will receive in government schools. He also stated that all current welfare benefits will end if Naidu is elected to power.
