BJP candidate Arvind Sharma used MPLAD money to spend Rs. 17 crore

Replying to Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda, the Congress’s likely Rohtak candidate, about his comments regarding MPLAD fund usage over the last five years, retiring MP and BJP candidate Dr. Arvind Sharma stated that he had utilized approximately Rs. 17 crore of the MPLAD fund during his term, with only Rs. 45,000 remaining in the account.

This was said by Sharma on Monday during his remarks at a number of public gatherings in the Jhajjar district’s Kasar, Saray Aurangabad, Tandaheri, Madaudhi, Noona Majra, Soldha, and Dabauda Kalan.

“To get political mileage, people are being mislead by presenting outdated MPLAD funding data, but they are shrewd and won’t fall for this kind of deceptive propaganda. Having served as an MP four times, I am familiar with the MPLAD funding procedure. “So, how is it feasible that I won’t use the funds for the construction projects in my district?” he questioned.

Sharma launched a vicious assault on the Congress, claiming that although the BJP honored its hardworking members and even awarded them important posts like Chief Minister in many states, including Haryana, the Congress party supported dynastic politics and showed little concern for its employees.

Speaking at a public gathering in Meham on Sunday night, Deepender Hooda said that the state and country’s largest issue right now is unemployment, despite the fact that the BJP’s platform included no mention of jobs. This makes it evident that the BJP lacks a plan to combat unemployment, but the Congress has pledged in its platform to create 30 lakh permanent jobs in the first year. Additionally, the Haryana Congress has pledged to fill 2 lakh vacant positions in government agencies,” he said.

According to Deepender, permanent jobs were being destroyed by the BJP, which had elevated Haryana to the “number one state in the country in terms of unemployment.” He went on, “Youth were working at Haryana Skill Employment Corporation on a meritless basis.”
