BJP MP Hema Malini of Mathura Refers to Herself as the “Gopi of Krishna” and Claims She Entered Politics To Help Brijwasis

As she runs for reelection, Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini has renewed her dedication to the people of Mathura. In the Lok Sabha elections, Malini is standing for the BJP for the third time, and she calls herself a “gopi” of Lord Krishna. She said that her deep spiritual commitment is what motivates her to serve the people of Mathura. She thinks she may get Lord Krishna’s blessings by serving the “Brijwasis” with sincerity.

“I didn’t enter politics for attention or notoriety. The Mathura MP said, “I did not enter politics in order to pursue worldly gains. She also thanked JP Nadda, the head of the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for giving her another chance to serve the community.

If she is re-elected, one of her main priorities would be to renovate the ‘Braj 84 Kos Parikrama,’ a major pilgrimage path that circles the Braj area. Presently in disrepair, Malini hopes to make it a more desirable travel destination for both pilgrims and visitors. She said that Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has approved money for the project of Rs 5,000 crore.

The project must be completed with an extra Rs 6,000 crore in order to provide guests with the best possible infrastructure and amenities. “As the DPR (detailed project report) for it has been prepared for Rs 11,000 crore, I will get the rest of the amount sanctioned for an ideal infrastructure so that it provides the needed facilities to the pilgrims and turns attractive and mesmerising for the international tourists,” she said.

Malini emphasized how crucial the tourism industry is to providing residents with job possibilities. She also has serious concerns about the environment, particularly the Yamuna River’s cleanliness. Even though Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi’s Namami Gange project was successful in cleaning up the Ganga, the Yamuna still has pollution issues, particularly in the sections that pass through Delhi and Haryana.

She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi for founding the UP Braj Tirth Vikas Parishad, which has brought about a number of noteworthy improvements in Vrindavan, such as the restoration of sacred and historical places.

Malini also plans to build a central university to assist local youth in performing well in competitive exams, double the rail track between Mathura and Kasganj, replace the hard water supply with Ganga river water, and build an elevated broad rail line connecting Mathura to Vrindavan and Aligarh.
