On the fifth day of the farmers’ protest, the Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) will stage dharnas outside the homes of three prominent BJP politicians in Punjab. The demands of the farmers include a legal guarantee for MSP.

They are pressing the government to grant their demands, which include a legally-mandated guarantee of a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops.
