BJP’s “400-plus movie” was a huge failure on opening day, according to Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the RJD

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav ridiculed the BJP, claiming that the saffron party’s “400-plus movie turned out to be a flop on the first day of voting” and declaring that the Mahagathbandhan would win all four of the Lok Sabha seats in Bihar that went to elections in the first round on Friday.

“The first day (phase) of voting has shown that their (BJP’s) ‘400-plus film’ is a huge failure. Mahagathbandhan is going to win all four of the Bihar seats that were up for election on April 19. We’ll do well in the next stages as well,” he told reporters at this location.

“Compared to the 2019 elections, the turnout in the four Lok Sabha seats was lower, but based on the input from these constituencies, we are optimistic in winning these. “People are tired of BJP leaders making empty promises,” he said.

Chief of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), which is a constituent of the Grand Alliance in Bihar, Mukesh Sahani, expressed a similar opinion.

“We will win all 36 of the remaining constituencies where voting will take place in the upcoming phases, in addition to the four Lok Sabha seats that were up for grabs yesterday,” he said.

In the four seats of Bihar that went to elections in the first round on Friday—Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, and Aurangabad—the turnout was 48.23%.
