Crack instances of blind murder: officers are directed by Rohtak SP

Himanshu Garg, the superintendent of police in Rohtak, evaluated the work of law enforcement officers in the current year.

The staff were instructed to provide the complainants with system-generated receipts and submit any complaints received at the police stations into the CCTNS site.

Additionally, district police authorities were directed to address the allegations right away. During a crime meeting on Wednesday, Garg said, “The complaints received through the Chief Minister Window should be disposed of within the stipulated time.”

There were CIA wings, in-charges of all police stations and posts, Meham DSP Sandeep, Sampla DSP Rakesh, Kalanaur DSP Rajeev, Sadar DSP Vidhanand, Additional Superintendent of Police Logesh Kumar, and DSP (Headquarters) Ravi Khundia.

The SP gave the authorities instructions to use the CIA’s cyber unit and employees to solve instances of blind murder.

He claimed that out of the 59 murder cases that were reported to the district in 2023, 54 had been solved and the suspects had been taken into custody. He continued, saying that nine of the 14 murder cases that had been reported thus far in 2024 had been resolved.

The officers were instructed to start taking swift action against the individuals engaged in unlawful activity. “People who use alcohol and cause disturbances in public areas should face strict consequences, as well as those who sell or possess illicit weapons and drugs,” he said.

He suggested that police officers create WhatsApp groups with watchmen, council members, and sarpanches since the information they exchange might be useful in

resolving cases.
