Crowd management problems and technical difficulties disrupt the TDP-BJP-JSP rally featuring PM Modi in Andhra Pradesh

Despite drawing sizable audiences, the much-publicized TDP-BJP-JSP combine’s maiden public gathering, known as “Praja Galam,” which took place on Sunday at Boppudi near Chilakaluripet in the Palnadu region, was plagued by many arrangement errors. A technical malfunction in the public address system necessitated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi halt his speech.

The microphones fell silent a minute after Modi’s address began. The issue kept coming up again, even when Modi personally requested the experts to fix the glitch.

Despite the constant pleas from the dais leaders to refrain from rushing the public address system console and to collaborate in order to ensure the smooth running of the meeting, a few individuals disregarded the advice and created chaos. Modi, for his part, dismissed the circumstances.

At one point, Naidu seemed to be upset with TDP candidate Prathipati Pulla Rao, a former minister from Chilakaluripet Assembly seat, for not making sure the Prime Minister’s public gathering was properly organized.

A number of TDP leaders voiced dissatisfaction with Modi’s failure to bring up any particular State-related concerns or criticize the governing YSRC government.

Modi asked the young people who were climbing the lights towers to stop when Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan was speaking to the gathering. He said, “Come down, you would create unwanted problems.”

Nevertheless, Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of the TDP, who greeted Modi at the helipad, was not seen on the dais.

Meanwhile, hundreds of chairs were damaged after a stampede-like incident that occurred in several of the public meeting’s galleries. Additionally, the barricades that divided the galleries were taken down.

Later, Pulla Rao criticized the police for not setting up a rope party at the public address system console to manage the swarming people.
