Dharmapuri Arvind argues that Revanth Reddy has to make clear his position on the CAA and NRC

On Tuesday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was pressed by BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind to explain his position on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

“Revanth declaring himself to be a Hindu is not enough,” the Nizamabad MP said, addressing reporters at the BJP headquarters here. He need to make it clear where he stands on the NRC and CAA.

He said that Revanth would be destroyed if he persisted with the grand old party and that the Congress would not let the chief minister to take a stance on the issues.

Arvind also claimed that Revanth was preoccupied with providing funds and other resources to the Congress high command rather than attending to his duties as chief minister. The MP said that Congress leaders had stolen money from the districts of Khammam and Nalgonda and that the district administration had failed to live up to promises.

“The eighth wonder of the world is the KCR administration leaving some money in the treasury. What’s even more surprising, however, is how these monies ended up in the districts of Khammam and Nalgonda, Arvind said. “This is the rationale behind Revanth’s decision to delay the pre-election promises.”

He said that the Gandhi family prevents the Congress from producing future leaders.
