Eatala challenges CM to waive agricultural loans without having to sell any land

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was challenged by BJP Malkajgiri Lok Sabha candidate Eatala Rajender, who threatened to leave politics “if the Chief Minister implements the farm loan waiver promise without selling lands in Hyderabad.”. Speaking at a road show in the Medchal Assembly seat on Friday in Dammaiguda, he said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was speaking in the same tone as previous Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. “KCR had called the Prime Minister ‘Modi’ and ‘Geedi,’ insulting him, and now we see CM Revanth using the same language. In order to win the State Assembly elections, the chief minister and his party made a number of pledges.

He continued, saying that the state government had not carried out any other promised programs except for the RTC free bus travel for women. He also mentioned the unfulfilled promises of new pensions of Rs 6,000 for the handicapped, Rs 2500 for women, Rs 1 lakh, and gold under the Kalyana Lakshmi plan. Additionally, the Congress pledged to provide auto drivers with Rs. 12,000 and scooters for female students. But none of these assurances have come to pass,” he said. He took issue with the chief minister’s justifications, claiming that the previous chief minister, KCR, had left him with an empty treasury, and that he would fulfill his electoral pledges only if the Congress won 17 Lok Sabha seats in the next parliament elections.

“Neither the Congress will win to come to power at the Center, nor is it going to keep its words,” he said. Additionally, he chastised BRS leaders KCR and KT Rama Rao for their doubts about whether they would be able to find work and food by singing “Jai Shri Ram.” Eatala assured them that people would look after it, adding, “The Modi administration has improved airports and built housing for the impoverished. However, BRS officials were unable to distribute the few homes that were constructed and did not construct any new ones.
