Four IPS officials were moved

On the suggestion of the Civil Services Board, the Himachal Pradesh government today issued an order transferring and posting four officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS).

According to the official announcement, Bimal Gupta, an officer from the 2006 batch, has been promoted to the position of Inspector-General (IG), Welfare and Administration, at the Police Headquarters in Shimla. Currently, he serves as the IG, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV & ACB) in Shimla.

Anupam Sharma, who was formerly employed in Shimla as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Welfare & Administration, has been moved to the position of DIG, Prisons.

Rahul Nath and Ranjana Chauhan, who were on the waiting list, were assigned to the positions of DIG, Law and Order, Shimla, and DIG, SV & ACB, Shimla, respectively.
