France’s Sikhs are organizing a pro-BJP demonstration

In support of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, activities are being organized in Paris by the Overseas Friends of BJP France, headed by its president Avinash Mishra, in association with Indian Association leader Iqbal Singh Bhatti, who represents the Sikh population in France.

In May, the organization has scheduled the “Paris Bike Rally” and the “Paris Car Rally.” Today, the French “Chai Pe Charcha” project was launched.

A portion of the French Indian diaspora hosted an event at the Eiffel Tower last week. The participants recorded their video greetings in the native tongues of the Indian states where they were born.

It is a social worker, Bhatti. He has sent corpses of Indian citizens who passed away in France over the last 20 years. Either he has the final rites done in France, or he arranges for the remains to be sent to India. The Sikh community at significant gurdwaras in France, together with his organization “Aurore Dawn,” have handled around 370 such situations in total.

In addition to 11 certificates of honor from different organizations—including one from the Indian Embassy in France during the Covid-19 outbreak—Bhatt has been recognized with an award from the Indian government.
