General observer assesses election preparations in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: On Friday, K Balasubrahmanyam, the general observer for the Rajahmundry Parliamentary Constituency, examined the operations of Suvidha, cVIGIL, MCC, Media Cell, Media Monitoring Cell, and 1950 Call Center.

The CCTV sections at checkpoints and the National Voters’ Service Portal (NVSP) were examined. He looked into the specifics of the direct and online Suvidha permission applications.

In relation to the online applications, collector Dr. K Madhavi Latha advised that the appropriate paperwork must be turned over immediately by the candidates and political party representatives.

According to her, complaints sent via cVIGIL are handled in 33 minutes. She said that notifications are delivered via the relevant returning officers, and records are kept by the relevant constituency for MCC infractions.

With employees working in three shifts, the media monitoring department keeps an eye on both good and bad news stories pertaining to the district via 16 news channels. The collector said that the time and information are being recorded in the records.

There were many people in attendance, including Rajahmundry Urban Development Authority (RUDA) VC B Balaswamy, Marketing ADM Sunil Vinay, Special Deputy Collector R Krishna Naik, DPRO I Kasaiah, and District Revenue Officer G Narasimhulu.
