Haryana Diary: Anil Vij’s bitterness might harm the BJP

Ambala: Local party leaders feel that the situation is sending the wrong message to the electorate, especially since the election dates have been announced, because the BJP leadership has not yet been able to appease Anil Vij, the former state home minister, who is dissatisfied with the changes in the government. The buzz of the town is now the schism among the governing party. A BJP senior said that before making big changes at the top, the party ought to have taken Vij under confidence. He went on, “BJP workers’ resentment in Ambala Cantonment is bad for the party.”

CM replacement is a strategic decision

Karnal: Even seasoned political analysts have been taken aback by the recent political developments, which include Manohar Lal Khattar’s resignation as Chief Minister and as an MLA, as well as the subsequent awarding of the Karnal Lok Sabha ticket to him, as the state awaits the results of the Lok Sabha elections. Some of them saw Saini’s appointment as Khattar’s successor as a calculated attempt to keep the GT Road Belt as the center of power.

The contender for Congress is the center of attention.

Panipat: There has been much conjecture on the identity of the Congress candidate after the declaration of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar as the BJP candidate for the Karnal Lok Sabha seat. Residents of the city believe that the BJP has accomplished two goals in one go: first, by altering the candidate, the governing party has presented the Congress with a serious challenge, and second, by fielding the former chief minister, the circumstances were unfavorable for the existing MP. Social media users are debating this topic extensively, and everyone agrees that the Congress has to draft a strong candidate to unseat the BJP for the seat.

Discussion is sparked by Yadav’s exclusion.

Mahendragarh: People have been wondering why Om Prakash Yadav, the MLA from Narnaul and a supporter of Union Minister Rao Inderjit, was left out of the state cabinet. While some political observers think that the anti-Rao sentiment in Ahirwal may be the cause, others assert that Yadav was really on the list of those who were supposed to be appointed to the Cabinet in the first enlargement on Saturday, even if he was ultimately unsuccessful in getting a ministership.

Given that Ahirs are a well-known caste among the Other Backward Classes (OBBCs), the BJP cannot ignore them now that it has named Nayab Singh Saini as the Chief Member and kept Kanwar Pal Gujjar as a Cabinet Member. According to a political expert, Yadav must be part of the Cabinet in order to court the OBCs in light of the state’s recent change in leadership. Yadav served as Khatter’s Cabinet’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Happy with the LS poll timetable are farmers

Yamunanagar: The state will cast ballots in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha election, which has been notified. Farmers in the state are pleased with the vote timetable since it will allow them to take part in the election after harvesting their wheat crop. An agriculturist predicted that most farmers would have harvested their wheat crop by the first week of May, when the state would cast its votes. He assured them that they would have time in May to spare and that taking part in the campaign wouldn’t affect their harvest in any way.

Argument over placing the foundation stone

Faridabad: A dispute has arisen over the placement of the cornerstone for certain development projects at a local Assembly segment between an opposition MLA and a senior leader of the governing party. The opposition member of parliament said that not only did the governing party delay the distribution of cash for these projects, but it also attempted to claim credit by having its leaders lay the foundation stones, infringing on his right to do so. Additionally, he claimed that the constituency was being discriminated against, claiming that only half of the allowed amount had been issued.
