Hyderabad South Zone DCP transfer is ordered by the Election Commission

In order to fill the position, the EC also requested that the chief secretary provide a list of three IPS officials’ names by tomorrow.

According to reports, the Telangana Chief Secretary was given an order by the Election Commission on Tuesday to transfer P Sai Chaitanya, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone), to Vijay Kumar, the DCP (West Zone), of Hyderabad.

The Election Commission (EC) said in a statement to the Chief Secretary that the officer should delegate authority to a subordinate official and refrain from taking on any election-related tasks until after the current general elections.
