In J-K’s Rajouri, village defense guards shoot fire on suspicion

According to sources, village defense guards opened fire on Sunday after seeing suspicious activity in a hamlet in the Rajouri region of Jammu and Kashmir.

The gunfire in upper Dhangri, a hamlet where terrorists murdered seven people in an assault early this year, occurred at approximately four in the morning, according to authorities. No one was hurt.

According to the VDGs, they saw some suspicious activity outside a home in the hamlet and shot around twenty bullets.

As a precaution, the army and police have established a cordon and search operation around the hamlet and its surrounding regions, according to authorities.
