In the mid-air urine case, Shankar Mishra is not employed

Shankar Mishra, who gained notoriety in the first month of 2023 when it was reported that he had urinated on his elderly co-passenger on an Air India trip, has filed a lawsuit against Wells Fargo, the firm that fired him for the in-flight indiscretion.

According to information obtained by The New Indian Express, Mishra, 35, was once employed at Wells Fargo as its Vice President and has been unemployed for more than a year.

According to Shankar’s father, Shyamnaval Mishra, this publication has received over 200 rejections in the last year after his abrupt termination, which was carried out in a hurry without any investigation or fact-checking by his employer.

On November 26, 2022, the purported pee-gate event occurred. It was reported as a result of the co-passenger’s complaint. On January 20, 2022, Air India banned Mishra from flying for four months, on top of the thirty days it had already placed on the person. Mishra was fired by his job, Wells Fargo, an American global financial services firm with its headquarters located in California and an office located in Bellandur, Bangalore.

After presenting Shankar Mishra before the Patiala House Court, Delhi police remove the accused.

On January 5, 2023, the business placed Shankar on “Admin leave pending inquiry.” The very following day, on January 6, 2023, Wells Fargo released a press release expressing their profound distress about the charges and Shankar’s termination. “This is a fight for justice and Shankar’s right to employment, and I believe in the judiciary,” Shyamnaval Mishra said.

According to Shankar’s father, his son excelled academically and started working while still in college to help support the family. He eventually rose through the ranks of MNC banks, article ships, and auditors.

He worked his way up to become Vice President of another MNC bank in Bangalore. Shankar has suffered severe financial, emotional, and mental losses as well as stress since losing his employment at Wells Fargo as a result of a false complaint that was lodged and falsely disseminated in the media, according to the father.
