India being criticized by Rahul Gandhi abroad: Pradhan

Rahul Gandhi was harshly criticized by Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan for allegedly “defaming India abroad.” The top BJP official from the state of Odisha said that Gandhi is exhibiting “mental bankruptcy and is unable to digest India’s development” on the sidelines of an event in the Jajpur district of that state on Wednesday.

Pradhan said that “he maintains a pro-China stance and defames India abroad.”

The Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Pradhan, stated at the Surakhya Bandhan Utsav in the Sukinda area of the district that there is no lack of funding from the Center but that beneficiaries are being denied access to various programs because of the “ineffective and corrupt” BJD government in the state.

He said that during the ten years of the UPA’s tenure, Odisha had only got Rs 3 lakh crore from the Centre, however in the nine years of the BJP-led Union government, the state had received Rs 18 lakh crore. Pradhan said that by lowering LPG costs by Rs 200 per cylinder, Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed mothers and sisters a significant present.
