India Strongly Retaliates Against Pakistan For Bringing Up Kashmir At UNGA, Calling It A “Purely Internal Matter”

After Pakistan’s interim leader brought up Kashmir in his speech to the UN General Assembly, India vehemently denounced Pakistan. According to India, Pakistan has turned into a “habitual offender” since it is “home and patron” to the majority of the world’s terrorist organizations that are outlawed. India emphasized that Pakistan has abused the august United Nations venue to spread “baseless and malicious” propaganda against India, and that it has become a “habitual offender” in this regard.

Kakar has before said that Pakistan wanted to have positive and cooperative relationships with all of its neighbors, including India. “Kashmir is the key to peace between Pakistan and India,” he said. The Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are an essential component of India, as repeated by Petal Gahlot, India’s first secretary to the UN during the second committee of the UNGA.

“Matters relating to J&K and Ladakh UTs are wholly internal to India. No one from Pakistan has the right to weigh in on our internal affairs.

The young Indian envoy said that Pakistan “would do well to put its own house in order before venturing to point a finger at the world’s largest democracy” since it has one of the worst records in the world when it comes to minority and women’s rights.

Gahlot said that Pakistan does this to “deflect the international community’s attention away from its own abysmal record on human rights” and that the United Nations and other multilateral organizations are fully aware of this.

India criticized Pakistan for giving terrorists a safe harbor and demanded three steps from Pakistan for peace to exist in South Asia.

“The majority of the world’s terrorist organizations and individuals have had their headquarters and financial support in Pakistan. Gahlot responded with a harsh retort, saying, “Instead of indulging in technical sophistry, we urge upon Pakistan to take genuine and verifiable action against the perpetrators of the Mumbai terror attacks, whose victims still do not have justice 15 years later.

“First, halt international terrorism and swiftly dismantle its infrastructure. Third, end the severe and ongoing human rights crimes against minorities in Pakistan. Second, withdraw from Indian regions it has illegally and forcibly occupied.
