INDIA VOTES 2024: Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah lead the BJP push in western Uttar Pradesh, concentrating on the Ram Temple

Leading BJP politicians Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi today as they launched their election campaigns in western Uttar Pradesh, satisfying the people’s long-standing desire to build the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Speaking at a Muzaffarnagar rally in favor of party candidate Sanjeev Balyan, Home Minister Amit Shah praised the Modi administration, stating that the PM has taken into consideration the opinions of the public over the building of the Ram Temple.

Shah said, “Akhilesh Yadav was against the Ram Temple, and the Congress also made fun of and disregarded the opinions of the people on that matter.

He also criticised the UP government, which was then run by the Samajwadi Party. In Uttar Pradesh, corruption was rife before 2017, but Yogi Adityanath led the BJP administration that abolished the “goonda raj,” or criminals’ control, and halted corruption, he added.

Taking a jab at the INDIA group, he said that their goal was to shield the dishonest and advance dynastic politics, but the NDA seeks to destroy corruption and eliminate dynastic politicians, hence uplifting the weakest segments of the nation. Shah urged the assembly to guarantee the NDA’s victory in all 80 seats in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh poked fun at the INDIA bloc at a rally in support of BJP candidate Atul Garg in Ghaziabad, stating that the alliance was unable to take on the NDA.

“When I contested the election from Ghaziabad, some people told me that this was a tough fight, but people of Ghaziabad blessed me,” said Rajnath, a former member of parliament from Ghaziabad.

Atul Garg, a Ghaziabad native and two-term MP and Union minister, is the BJP’s nominee to succeed Gen. VK Singh.

According to Rajnath, Modi made it easier for Indian students to return from the war-torn Ukraine. Modi’s phone conversations with US President Joe Biden, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine resulted in a four-hour break in hostilities between the two countries long enough to allow 22,500 Indian students to go safely.

“Some opposition leaders and CMs are in jail on corruption charges,” he remarked in response to the opposition parties’ accusations of improper use of central agencies. They say Modi is the one behind this whole thing. Anyone should file a lawsuit if they think they are being unjustly targeted by the government.

According to Rajnath, there are rumors circulating in the mostly Muslim Ghaziabad that the government is planning to expel Muslims from the nation. He said, “I want to reassure my Muslim friends that we respect Vasudeva Kutumbkam and that the Citizenship Amendment Act would not cause them to lose their citizenship.
