Information About Electoral Bonds: This Is The List Of Political Parties’ Top 10 Donors

The Election Commission released the electoral bond data to the public on Thursday. On March 12, the State Bank of India gave the poll panel access to the data per an order from the Supreme Court.

Based on the list, the biggest contributor is a relatively unknown lottery firm named Future Gaming and Hotel Services. Lakshmi Mittal, Vedanta (Anil Agarwal), Mahindra & Mahindra, ITC, Spicejet, IndiGo, the Birlas, the Bajajs, the Jindals, and the Goenkas are a some of the list’s more well-known names.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd. bought bonds for Rs 966 crore, while Future Gaming and Hotel Services may have bought the most bonds, totaling Rs 1,368 crore. The Enforcement Directorate looked into future gaming in March 2022.

The data release only revealed the total amount provided by each organization or person, even though it is previously known that the Congress party got the second-highest gift, coming in second place behind the governing BJP with over Rs 6,000 crore. Who gave to which party is not stated.
