It’s expected that PM Modi will address a rally in Rahul Gandhi’s district. The Wayanad

According to BJP sources here, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to campaign in Wayanad and one other Keralan seat.

The sources said that the visit’s dates would be revealed shortly.

In the next few days, a number of BJP national officials are also scheduled to campaign in the state.

Kerala will hold elections on April 26 to choose 20 members of the Lok Sabha.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive here on Friday night and will do a roadshow on Saturday in the nearby suburban town of Neyyattinkara.

From there, he will go to neighboring Tamil Nadu, where elections are scheduled on April 19 in the first round.

According to sources, PM Modi would advocate in Wayanad for the party’s state president, K. Surendran, who is running against Rahul Gandhi, the current Congress MP. Annie Raja of the CPI is another well-known contender vying for the seat.

Even though a number of NDA candidates headed by the BJP have asked PM Modi to campaign in their areas, he is probably going to visit one more seat after Wayanad.

Prominent BJP activists will also campaign in the state, including Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP President Annamalai of Tamil Nadu, Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra, and others.
