Laknavaram and Ramappa will be blocked till February 26

The popular tourist locations of Ramappa and Laknavaram Lakes will be restricted to tourists until February 26 because to the Medaram jatara, Asia’s largest tribal celebration, which begins on February 21. The decision was taken to avoid a major rush hour and traffic gridlock at the two tourist attractions. Many visitors to the jatara will also make time to view Laknavaram Lake and the Ramappa Temple.

On Monday, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, the Minister of Revenue, clarified that women devotees visiting the Sammakka-Saralamma jatara at Medaram are entitled to free transportation on TSRTC buses.
