Man struck by a vehicle in Rewari, Haryana, is carried for 50 meters

According to authorities, on Friday, a guy who attempted to rescue his companion from being beaten by a gang of men was struck by a jeep that they were driving and hauled 50 meters.

According to the police, Shubham, his buddy Vedpal, and Dharmender were seated at a vehicle service station in Kund when the incident happened on Thursday around 2:30 p.m.

Dharmender’s accusation states that around ten individuals arrived in a Bolero Camper Jeep and beat Shubham with sticks. They also beat them up when he and his buddy Vedant interfered.

Dharmender said in his complaint that “after this, the main accused Harender, a resident of Ateli Begpur village, drove his vehicle and hit us, intending to kill us.”

Vedpal said that the car dragged him for almost 50 meters during the event. He stated the accused managed to escape despite the efforts of the surrounding mob to pursue them.

Dharmender’s complaint said, “Vedpal is receiving treatment in a private hospital in Rewari for fractures to his hands, legs, and spine.”

Sub-Inspector Surender Singh stated that a FIR has been filed at the Khol police station under Sections 148 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code against Harender and nine other people in response to the complaint.

A local car parts store had a CCTV camera installed, and it recorded the event.

He said, “We are conducting raids to apprehend the accused and are trying to identify the other accused with the help of CCTV footage.”
