Mohali locals report illicit mining

Today, the police in Samgoli village filed an unlawful mining complaint on 13 acres of property known as “Golden Forests.” The suspects left their vehicles and large machinery behind and ran away from the scene.

Locals contacted the police and authorities of the Mining Department by writing down the car registration numbers.

According to the locals, illegal mining has been going on in Bijanpur village for a while now and has only lately begun in the Samgoli region.
