Mumbai Train Fire: RPF Constable Heard Saying, “If You Want To Stay In India, Yogi, Vote For Modi,” After Killing 4 Passengers; Police Examining Alleged Video
To conduct a thorough investigation into the tragedy that occurred in the early hours of Monday on board the moving Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train, a high-level committee headed by the Additional Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has been established. A RPF constable is suspected of shooting dead his senior and three passengers near Palghar station on the outskirts of Mumbai.
After the event, a video that seemed to show the accused policeman standing close to dead corpses and ostensibly defending the murders emerged and quickly became popular on social media. An SIT has been created by the Government Railway Police to investigate the event.
The suspect, who is now in custody, shot and killed Tikaram Meena, a senior official, in coach B-5. He then murdered Abdul Kaderbhai Bhanpurwala, another traveler on the same carriage, by shooting him. An official added that after killing one passenger in S6 coach, the eighth bogie from the B5 coach, the shooter then killed another in the pantry compartment, five coaches distant.
The Railway police named two of the dead passengers as Abdul Kadarbhai Mohammed Hussain Bhanpurwala (48), of Nalasopara in Palghar, and Asgar Abbas Sheikh (48), of Madhubani in Bihar, while the identity of the third victim was yet unknown. Western Railway Police Commissioner said, “He (RPF constable, Chetan Kumar) was not feeling well and lost his composure, speaking to the media about the train fire event. There wasn’t any debate.

The accused, Chetan Kumar Singh, is seen allegedly chatting to passengers while standing over the corpse of one of the victims in a video that has surfaced online. “Pakistan se operate hue hain, tumhari media, yahi media coverage dikha rahi hai hai, pata chal raha hai unko, sab pata chal raha hai, inke aaqa hai wahan,” he reportedly stated. According to a story by The Wire, “Modi aur Yogi, ye do hain, aur aapke Thackeray, toh mai kehta hoon, agar vote dena hai, agar Hindustan me rehna hai.”

Standing in front of the lifeless corpse of a Muslim guy after killing him, RPF policeman Chetan Singh said,

GRP commissioner Ravindra Shisve informed reporters that the alleged video footage is being studied along with other evidence, albeit the precise cause of the firing has not yet been determined. Shisve said that it would be premature to comment or provide any information regarding the investigation at this time and that police would look into and review any information they receive.
