Noida: Man Arrested for Murdering His Wife, A Supreme Court Attorney, Over Bungalow Sale

The spouse of a 61-year-old Supreme Court attorney was detained by Uttar Pradesh police on Monday after he reportedly killed her at their Noida home.The victim, named as Renu Sinha, was discovered on Sunday in a bathroom of her home in Noida’s affluent Sector 30.

The woman’s brother accused his brother-in-law, who was missing, of murdering his sister when the woman’s corpse was found.

According to a report, police eventually located his phone in the storage room of the cottage where he had spent more than 36 hours hiding.

According to the article, the couple’s conflict over selling their home was the driving force for the murder.

The spouse allegedly intended to sell the house and had even accepted a small payment from a potential buyer. The lawyer was not prepared for it, either, and as a result the couple often fought.

A CASE

After her brother Amit alerted the neighborhood police station that Sinha had not returned her calls for the previous two days, her dead corpse was discovered.

Amit said that his phone was unreachable and suggested the possibility that his sister’s spouse was responsible for the crime.

The woman’s brother and a police squad arrived at the residence and forced through the door. Renu Sinha was discovered deceased in a bathroom after a check of the home was conducted. Blood stains were seen in her ear.

According to the woman’s brother, the pair often quarreled, DCP Harish Chander informed reporters.

Senior police officers, forensic investigators, and a dog squad are on the scene, according to authorities.
