On Doctors Day and California Day, Home Minister Amit Shah Sends Greetings

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, sent his best wishes to physicians on Saturday in honour of Doctors Day, noting that their everlasting dedication to helping people has significantly changed the world.

On the occasion of CA Day, he also expressed his thanks to chartered accountants for “keeping the wheels of our economy turning through all weather.” My sincere wishes on Doctors Day to the medical professionals who look out for our health and wellness.

“Their unshakable dedication to serve mankind has significantly impacted our globe and will do so in the future. Salute to the heroic doctors and life-saving personnel,” Shah tweeted. In honour of Bidhan Chandra Roy, a distinguished physician who also served as West Bengal’s chief minister from 1948 to 1962 and whose birth and death anniversaries fell on July 1, the day is recognised as National Doctors Day.

Shah said in another tweet, “On CA Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all the brilliant chartered accountants who have with their dedication to transparent corporate governance set shining standards of excellence.” “Thank you for ensuring that our economy continued to function in all weather conditions.”

On July 1st, 1949, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was founded. The only organisation responsible for licencing and regulating the accounting industry and financial audits in the nation is ICAI. The ICAI commemorates its 75th anniversary this year.
