Over 1 lakh people were evacuated as a result of Cyclone Biparjoy, as shown by NASA’s stunning space images.

We have watched over the last several days as the powerful cyclone “Biparjoy” formed steadily and moved near Gujarat and portions of Pakistan. Nonetheless, everything was reported from the ground or by our usual weather systems, which provided a real-time update. But this time, we have images taken there. Space, indeed.

Some of the photographs that NASA’s Earth Observatory has posted appear really amazing, which stands in striking contrast to the horrible reality that people on the ground are now experiencing as a result of the violent hurricane.

As authorities evacuated about 1 lakh people in Gujarat in the wake of Cyclone “Biparjoy,” fishing boats were anchored, large ships were sent to the high seas, more than 4,000 hoardings were taken down, and pregnant women and salt pan workers were taken to safer locations, according to NDRF DG Atul Karwal on Thursday.

The NDRF has also maintained 15 teams on standby in the north, east, and south of the nation in order to airlift them and boost the strength of these 33 teams, which have been designated for cyclone relief and rescue activities in Gujarat and Maharashtra, according to the chief of the federal contingency force.

In Gujarat, which is expected to bear the brunt of the cyclonic storm’s high winds and heavy rains, a total of 18 teams have been stationed.

Biparjoy, a very strong cyclonic storm with top wind speeds of up to 150 kph, is anticipated to make landfall Thursday evening near Jakhau port, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to information provided by Gujarat government officials, 1 lakh people had been evacuated from Gujarat’s coastline and low-lying districts by 9 a.m. on Thursday, according to Karwal, who spoke to media in this city.

In Gujarat, we have deployed 18 teams and have them on standby in case of an emergency.
