Phase 1 of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections: How to print and see your voter information sheet (VIS)

The first round of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has begun, with 102 seats from 21 states and Union Territories up for grabs. The Voter Information Slip (VIS), as per custom, was delivered by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to all registered voters listed on the electoral roll.

The voter’s name, age, gender, assembly constituency, polling place location, room number, polling day, polling hour, and other information are all included on the voter information sheet (VIS). A QR code is also included in the VIS to enable fast voter data verification. You may download your voter information slip via the online interface or the Voter Helpline mobile app from ECI if you haven’t received it yet.

How to get the Voter Information Slip downloaded
To download VIS using an app, do the actions listed below:

Look for the “Voter Helpline” app by opening the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.Install the app “Election Commission of India.”.
When the software opens, choose “E-EPIC Download.”
Enter your password, OTP, and registered phone number to log in (Sign Up first if haven’t already).
After that, input the EPIC number that appears on the voter ID card.
Your VIS information will appear; tap on them to access the document by entering the OTP.
Use the online portal to get the voter information slip by following the instructions listed below:

Visit voters.eci.gov.in and sign in using your password, phone number, and OTP (register first if you haven’t already).
Select “E-EPIC Download” from the menu.
Enter the number indicated by the EPIC on your voter ID card.
Get the E-EPIC, which contains the VIS information.
You may print the whole E-EPIC page or only the VIS page after downloading it, then take it with you to the polls.
