PM Modi declares that “lakhs of people” would benefit as he sets the cornerstone for many railway projects in Haryana!

In Rewari, Haryana, on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the cornerstone for many development projects totaling over Rs 9750 crores. The PM said that “lakhs of people” would profit from these initiatives.

“New railway lines like Rohtak, Meham, Hansi, Jind, Sonipat, and the doubling of lines like Ambala Cantt, Dappar, will benefit lakhs of people.” At a public gathering, Prime Minister Modi said, “When such facilities are created, life becomes easier and business also becomes easier.”

In the past, the prime minister said that “an average budget of Rs 300 crore was available” for the state’s railroads before to the election of his administration.
Prior to 2014, the development of Haryana’s railroads could count on an annual budget of around Rs 300 crore. The PM said, “A budget of almost Rs 3,000 crore has been set out for Haryana’s railways this year.

“Haryana has seen unprecedented development in the last ten years, from connectivity to public facilities,” PM Modi said.

PM set the following railway projects’ foundation stones:

a) Rewari-Kathuwas train line doubling (27.73 km)

b) Extending the train line from Kathuwas to Narnaul by 24.12 km

d) Extension of the 42.30-kilometer Bhiwani-Dobh Bhali rail route

c) Extension of the 31.50-kilometer Manheru-Bawani Khera rail line

The Gurugram Metro Rail project also saw the prime minister lay its foundation stone. The estimated cost of development is Rs 5450 crore. There are 28.5 kilometers in total.

Additionally, he placed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari’s foundation stone. The estimated cost of construction is Rs 1650 crore.

at addition, the prime minister dedicated the recently constructed Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar, Kurukshetra.
