PM Modi: YSRC and Congress are working together in Andhra Pradesh to divide the anti-incumbency vote

In order to guarantee quick growth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to support the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) twin engine government at the federal and state levels.

He was speaking to a sizable crowd at the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance’s “Praja Galam” public assembly, which was held on Sunday in the Palnadu district in Boppudi, close to Chilkaluripeta.

He urged the populace, “On June 4, make sure the NDA surpasses the 400-mark in the Lok Sabha so that progress is accelerated in the State.” He continued by saying that Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu have been working nonstop to advance the State. Slashing out at the YSRC judgment, he said that the State’s growth has suffered during the last five years.

“Ministers in Andhra Pradesh are engaging in corruption-related competition with one another, which is negatively impacting the favorable atmosphere required for the State’s development. “People want to vote this government out because they are tired of it,” he remarked.

Modi warned the people of the State not to fall into the trap of believing that Congress and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRC are two different parties. He emphasized that the two parties are actually working together as a single unit, led by members of the same family, and that they are coordinating to divide the anti-incumbency vote.

The PM said, “The people of Andhra have already made a decision on two things: to dethrone the Jagan government and retain the NDA government at the Center.”

He said that only a double-engine government could fulfill the NDA’s objective of creating a Viksit Andhra (Developed Andhra) for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Modi assured the populace that the NDA will give equal weight to regional goals and national advancement, noting that the coalition was becoming stronger as more allies and supporters joined.

He jokingly said, “Partners in the opposition alliance speak ill of one another and even contest against each other in the Assembly elections,” mocking the I.N.D.I.A. bloc. We bring everyone along in NDA. However, when the Congress creates an alliance, it is well known that its only goal is to utilize and discard its allies.
