PM Narendra Modi Is Drawn to This Oil Painting by a Mangaluru Artist

In Mangaluru, Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted his first roadshow. Thousands of his fans showed up for the occasion. At the function, one such fan had the chance to show PM Modi his artwork.

During the Prime Minister’s roadshow visit Mangaluru, Kiran, an amateur painter from the city, got his desire granted. Among the hundreds of people gathered around him, he was holding the Prime Minister’s oil painting at the side of Mahatma Gandhi Road. The young painter held out his artwork, hoping to display it to the PM as his car drew alongside. Luckily, he managed to get the attention of the Prime Minister, who apparently acknowledged Kiran’s artistic talent. According to accounts, PM Modi then instructed his SPG commando to deliver the artwork to him.

Mangaluru’s Kiran is a young painter from Thokottu. He made the decision to employ his artistic abilities to paint a picture of the BJP leader in oil and give it to PM Modi after learning about his roadshow in the city. The painting measured 20 by 24 inches. Kiran told News18 that he was thrilled to be acknowledged by the Prime Minister personally.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his first roadshow stop in Mangaluru ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The people showered the prime minister with flower petals in greeting. The event started at Lady Hill at about 7:45 p.m. It ended at Navbharat Circle at around 8:45 p.m., having traveled through the neighborhoods of Lalbagh, Ballalbagh, and PVS Circle. At 7:00 p.m., the Prime Minister traveled from Mysuru to the function.
