Poisoned above-ground tank water in Bengaluru intended to murder a mother and her son

When a 52-year-old lady discovered that the water in her overhead tank was contaminated, she filed a complaint. While cooking, Rajamma, who lives on Agrahara Layout’s first major road, noticed a bad stench emanating from the water. She dispatched her son to see whether something had fallen into the tank.

When her son, Chandrashekar, looked into the tank, he discovered a parcel. She made instant contact to the police control center, suspecting it was poison. She was recommended to register a police complaint by the Hoysala patrolling team that examined the location.

Between 10.30 and 11 a.m. on Thursday, the incident was discovered, and Rajamma complained about it on Saturday.

Rajamma and her brother Manjunath were involved in a legal dispute about the residence she resides in. It has been reported that Rajamma won the case before the municipal court. Manjunath had re-filed his case, but it was rejected.

This apparently infuriated Manjunath, who together with his son Kushal Kumar continued to threaten Rajamma with grave repercussions. Rajamma said in her complaint that Manjunath had strolled over their terrace when she and her son were out from home, according to an investigating officer.

The complainant claims that Manjunath and his son poisoned the above tank with the intention of killing Rajamma and her son and having the home abandoned.

“An investigation is still ongoing in this situation. As of yet, no one has been taken into custody. Rajamma’s mother is alleging that she placed the powder inside the above tank after discovering worms and insects in the water, after the filing of the lawsuit. The officer said, “This remark might be an effort to divert attention from the inquiry.

Manjunath and his son are the subject of a complaint filed by the Sampigehalli police under IPC 328, IPC 504, and IPC 506. Investigations are ongoing.
