Program for voter education at JCD Vidyapeeth College, Sirsa
On Thursday, JCD Vidyapeeth College hosted a session as part of a campaign to encourage voter education and engagement. The purpose of the event, which was planned under the direction of college administrator Dr. Jai Prakash, was to increase awareness among employees and students. The main guest at the occasion was Dr. Kuldip Dhindsa, director-general of JCD.
Speaking to the crowd, Dhindsa emphasized voting’s significance as democracy’s cornerstone. He emphasized how it gives the populace a way to have a fair government and make decisions based on agreement. The importance of voting was emphasized, along with its role in upholding democratic values and encouraging civic engagement.
Jai Prakash emphasized the contribution democracy makes to societal cohesion, liberty, and justice. He emphasized how crucial it is for citizens to actively participate in forming society’s norms and policies. According to Jai Prakash, democracy enables people to fight for justice, equality, and social advancement.
After giving a thorough explanation of the democratic process, citizens’ rights, and voter registration processes, Sveep Master Trainer Naresh Kumar Grover urged students to encourage their friends, family, and neighbors to cast ballots in the forthcoming May 25 elections.
