Rajasthan BJP Chief: Rahul Gandhi spoke only about himself and his own experiences

Rahul Gandhi was criticized by Rajasthan BJP president C P Joshi on Wednesday for telling tribal people about his childhood experiences but failing to discuss their progress.

Gandhi, according to him, ought to have maintained track of the advancements the Congress made in the Vagad region.

Joshi said that he did not discuss the event in Bhilwara when a young girl was raped, killed, and her corpse was burned in a fire.

Gandhi avoided discussing the issue facing indigenous peoples, their development, and their future aspirations in his address. He only recounted his boyhood tales while bashing the BJP and the RSS, according to a statement from Joshi.

Gandhi had traveled to Mangarh Dham of Banswara to speak to a gathering of the general people on World Tribals Day.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi doesn’t want to put out the fire in the eastern state and blamed the violence in Manipur on the ideology of the BJP.

Joshi claimed that Gandhi was “so concerned about Manipur,” but he failed to mention the plight of Rajasthani women, false promises of debt relief to farmers, farmer suicides, unemployment benefits and deception with young people in the name of employment, the paper leak mafia, or the rising atrocities against Dalits.

He said that the Modi administration had completed the same development work for the Mangarh Dham and Vagad area in the previous nine years that the Congress had failed to do in the region’s 60-year history.

The BJP president said that Wednesday’s pledges of progress made at Mangarh Dham by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot “will also prove to be hollow.”

Arun Chaturvedi, a former state president of the BJP, revealed to reporters here on Wednesday that the BJP has allocated Rs 12.6 crore for the martyrs’ monument and museum at Mangarh Dham while listing the services provided by BJP regimes for tribal interests.

at a jab at Gandhi’s event at Mangarh Dham, Chaturvedi said that the Congressman had returned to the state after 4.5 years to discuss tribal issues.

He said that Droupadi Murmu, a tribal woman, had been appointed president of India by the BJP for the first time since India’s independence.

According to Chaturvedi, the Modi administration at the Centre proclaimed the “birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda to be celebrated on November 15 as Tribal Pride Day” on August 9, the day World Tribal Day was first recognized as a holiday.

Gandhi “cheated the farmers” of Rajasthan, according to former state president Satish Poonia, by breaking his commitment to fully forgive all of their debt.

He explained why Gandhi did not address the rape and murder case in Bhilwara as well as the protection of the state’s sisters and daughters.
