Ram Navami 2024: Following Pran Prathistha, Ayodhya is scheduled to see Ram Lalla’s “Surya Abhisehk.”

The Uttar Pradesh government has made extensive preparations and security precautions to guarantee a successful celebration of the celebrations. Ayodhya is expected to see a historic Ram Navami on Wednesday, the first since the Ram temple’s dedication earlier in January of this year.

The “Surya Abhishek,” a ground-breaking feature of this year’s festivities that combines spirituality and scientific innovation, will see the Sun’s rays illuminating the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya shrine. The Ram temple opened early and extended its visitation hours till late at night to accommodate the big visitors. Additionally, devotees will be able to participate in the hallowed “56 Bhog” offerings made to Ram Lalla.

Senior authorities made sure that special measures are in place for devotees’ comfort by thoroughly inspecting the important venues for their visits on Tuesday.

Huge crowds of devotees flocked to the recently opened Ram Temple on Wednesday morning in Ayodhya, demonstrating a strong expression of devotion. Before proceeding for darshan, which started in the wee hours of the morning, many pilgrims began their journey with a bath in the sacred Saryu River. The authorities have put elaborate arrangements in place to deal with the massive inflow. To guarantee crowd management, the police, Municipal Corporation, and district administration have worked together.

To manage crowds more effectively, the enormous space has been separated into zones. Live coverage of this historic event will be available around the city on a network of about 100 huge LED displays. Furthermore, the temple trust will provide live broadcasting via its social media platforms, enabling followers worldwide to partake in this historic event.

“Surya Abhishek” by Ram idol
The Suryavanshi dynasty’s Ram Lalla, the ruler of Ayodhya, is scheduled to perform “Surya Abhishek” at noon, a ritual in which the sun’s rays are harnessed to redirect and collect light using a variety of optical devices.

Ram Lalla’s forehead will be illuminated by sun beams in a 75-millimeter circle for around four minutes during the event. The project’s scientist, Dr. S K Panigrahi of CSIR-CBRI Roorkee, estimated that the forehead center’s “tilak” would last between three and three and a half minutes, with two minutes of maximum illumination.

PM Modi offers his best wishes.
Using his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Ram Navami with enthusiasm. This year’s celebration is especially noteworthy because of the recently dedicated huge Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“Happy Ram Navami, the anniversary of Lord Shri Ram’s birth, to all of my family members throughout the nation! This important event fills my heart with so much fulfillment. With the utmost grace of Shri Ram, I saw the Pran-Pratishtha at Ayodhya this year among millions of my fellow citizens. He commented on X, “I still feel the same excitement pulsating through my thoughts from that time in Awadhpuri.

“I firmly believe that the values and life of Maryada Purushottam, Lord Shri Ram, will serve as a solid foundation for the development of a developed India. With his blessings, India’s will to be self-sufficient would get fresh impetus,” PM Modi said.
