Ranjitsinh Mohite Patil declines his cousin’s campaign and the BJP’s

Kolhapur: The son of seasoned politician Vijaysinh Mohite Patil, BJP MLC Ranjitsinh Mohite Patil, is not present at rallies for his own party or for his cousin Dhairyasheel, the NCP (SCP) candidate for Madha.
Insiders close to the Mohite Patil family claim that Ranjitsinh has been granted permission to freely advocate for BJP candidate Ranjeetsingh Naik Nimbalkar.

Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister, spoke with Ranjitsinh to persuade Dhairyasheel not to join the NCP (SCP) at the last minute. In the end, Vijaysinh Mohite Patil, the family patriarch, made the choice to allow Dhairyasheel to join Sharad Pawar’s party.
At the BJP candidate’s rally in Solapur, Ranjitsinh was absent. Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister, spoke during this event.

“The freedom has been granted to him (Ranjitsinh). He believes that throughout his family’s recent years of political isolation, the BJP, and particularly Fadnavis, have been helpful. People have decided to defeat the BJP candidate this time, but he may still campaign for the party,” the insider said.
Politicians from the BJP are enraged at Ranjitsinh’s absence from the party’s campaign. The party made an unsuccessful attempt to put an end to Dhairyasheel’s insurrection. The BJP then made another unsuccessful attempt to win over local lawmakers to its cause, including Uttam Jankar. The BJP leadership is now delaying its efforts to acquire Ranjitsinh because they believe he may join during the last stretch of the campaign and assist shift public opinion.
