“Stage set for major leap in industrial growth with a foundation laid.”

The current BJP member of parliament for the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat, Dharambir Singh, is running for office a third time in a row after winning the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019. After joining the Lok Dal (now the INLD) at the beginning of his political career, Dharambir ultimately moved to the Congress and then the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In an interview with Sunit Dhawan, Dharambir asserts that he laid the groundwork for the constituency’s growth during his two terms in office and that he is hoping to complete a trifecta by winning the seat a third time. The passages:

Water and industrial growth have been major issues for the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat. What successes have you had on these fronts?

Here, we have made significant progress in the creation of infrastructure. Logistic centers, freight routes, and a strong road and rail network have all been established. Many linking roads and internal village roads have been built in addition to bolstering the nation’s highways. The settlements toward the finish have received water in many sections. The groundwork has been laid for the constituency’s general development.

Why has the constituency not received any major industrial unit or project?

The groundwork for the development has been established, as I said. The constituency’s economic expansion has been made possible by the increased road and rail links. In addition to the development of new work possibilities, the region will see notable industrial expansion with the establishment of two industrial model townships.

A significant issue in the sector has also been the absence of job and educational opportunities. What are your thoughts?

Three medical colleges within the constituency are currently under construction. The next term should see the Bhiwani Medical College operating. In terms of unemployment, things have been difficult. Nonetheless, the expansion of institutions and industries will open up more job opportunities for young people.

To what extent has the MPLADS money been used?

I have used all of the money that was allocated to my constituency. Over my whole term, I have also submitted more than 200 questions to the Lok Sabha.

By running for office in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name, you are not promoting yourself or your accomplishments. Why?

The Prime Minister is chosen by the Lok Sabha elections, and the nation’s voters fully trust PM Modi’s credentials and abilities to steer the nation. The people will make sure that the BJP wins more than 400 seats nationwide, including all 10 seats in Haryana, as they will replicate the performance they showed in the elections of 2014 and 2019. I will win this election with a margin of more than 6 lakh votes, like I did the previous one with 4.44 lakh votes.

During your campaign for the poll, didn’t you encounter resistance from the locals?

It was prearranged to display black flags in Seehma village and to record the incident on tape. A few young people who attempted to interrupt the gathering were under the influence of alcohol. An individual holding a post in the Congress party accompanied them. The event has been denounced by the Seehma village people.

How do you see the Congress and other opposition parties competing with them other?

The nation no longer has any resistance. The Congress is no longer in good shape. Even the senior members of Congress are not interested in running for office.
