“Symbol of struggle”: The AAP explains Arvind Kejriwal’s portrait with BR Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh

After a photograph of incarcerated Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with BR Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh went viral during a video briefing by Sunita Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) provided clarification on Thursday. In order to shed light on this, AAP minister Aatishi stressed that Kejriwal is the “symbol of the struggle” against the BJP regime.

AAP provides explanation.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party national government has detained Arvind Kejriwal on spurious allegations. Arvind Kejriwal’s photo serves as evidence that the fight against the BJP regime is still raging today. This serves as a reminder that the fight being waged against the BJP is a fight for freedom. Previously, the nation’s citizens engaged in combat with the British. Arvind Kejriwal is fighting the BJP’s tyranny in this day and age, and we must too, Atishi remarked.

AAP faces criticism on social media
Social media users chastised AAP for comparing Kejriwal to Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh. The AAP’s activity was also denounced by the BJP, which maintained that Kejriwal’s party would not influence the electorate. “It is regrettable to place the photo of a deeply corrupt Arvind Kejriwal between Bhagat Singh ji and Babasaheb Ambedkar ji,” stated dissatisfaction Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva. The spouse has a history of lying in front of the camera. He is now lying to his wife while he is incarcerated. The AAP won’t mislead the people.”

Another communication from incarcerated Arvind Kejriwal is read aloud by Sunita Kejriwal.
In the meantime, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, read aloud a letter from her husband requesting that his MLAs visit their districts each day to talk about and resolve people’s issues. “The people of Delhi shouldn’t have to endure any hardships just because I am incarcerated. Kejriwal stated in a letter that was read out by his wife in a video statement that every MLA should go to their community every day to talk about people’s issues and find solutions. “I’m not simply referring about resolving their political issues. We need to address other issues as well. My family is one of the two crore people of Delhi. I shouldn’t be the cause of anyone’s misery. May God bless each and every one of them. Jai Hind, “Kerjiwal continued.

In prison, Arvind Kejriwal
It should be noted that in the excise policy-related money laundering case, a Delhi judge placed Kejriwal in judicial prison until April 15. Since April 2, he has been detained in Tihar prison. The issue concerns the alleged use of money laundering and corruption in the development and implementation of the excise strategy for 2021–2022, which was subsequently abandoned by the Delhi government. The issue started with a report that Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena received from Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar in July 2022, which highlighted alleged procedural flaws in the policy’s creation.
